- Remember to accurately number your answers, just in case I'm a little unsure which question your answer relates to.
On we go.......
Term 2, Week 9, Monday 27 June, 2011
- We ARE off to Gymnastics on Monday afternoon this week! You may bring a change of clothes to wear there if you wish, however it is quite acceptable to participate in school uniform.
- Our winter sport FINALLY got under way last Friday – thanks to all those children and parents who remembered the correct clothing (sports top & shorts) and equipment (mouth guards, shin pads, hockey stick). I would really appreciate a parent helper with the rugby boys (it'll be a fortnight away now, which makes it the 8th of July), just to put the ice on the bumps and bruises, keep an eye on the gear, and help turn them around and point them in the right direction after half time. It doesn't need to be every game, and everyone's welcome. I'd love it if you could let me know if you might be a starter for this, thanks.
- Before we get into the homework, remember those of you who wish to play on the field at interval or lunch MUST bring a change of clothes please. Track pants and t-shirt would be a good option.
Question: It’s the first day of school and there are three other students in your row.
If everyone in the row shakes hands with everyone else in the row, how many handshakes in all took place?

Word for the week - peddle (v)
Write down the different meanings for this word and its homophone, then two synonyms for peddle, and then use each word/homophone in a sentence that adequately demonstrates your understanding of its meaning (that means you may need to write two sentences!).
